Hello + Updates (What I'm Doing, Where & Why)

PreviousPage 2 of 11Next

Totally looking forward to those red pill articles, can you also send them to the newsletter subscribers?

That way I'm sure to get it.

Thanks!

Hey mate, the first one should be out today.

It's a bit heavier on psychology and social-psychology, while the second one will be more "actionable".

Yeah, I'll send an email once both are out.
And BTW, I am trying out a "push" signal you can see in the right corner, that should send a push notification on any new published post.

Cheers!

Done: Red Pill Articles

What I'm Reading

I'm done reading "Guns, Germs and Steel" (good), "The Third Chimpanzee" (very good but with some mistakes) and I almost finished "The Mating Mind" (masterpiece, if you truly want to understand evolutionary psychology, you can't go without this one).

Next up are "Evolution for Everyone" and "The Evolution of Desire", both in audiobook and hence should go quick.

Next Up: Sexual Marketplace Focus

After researching The Red Pill and its most popular authors I realized there is some misunderstanding on the dynamics of the sexual marketplace.
Including from those who write about it and present themselves as authorities.

And the above books gave me the idea (and further information) for a series of articles on sexual marketplace, sexual arms' race and optimal mating strategies.

I look forward to them.
It will take a while, but those are going to be truly important (and helpful) articles.

Where I'm Staying

As I waited on the roadside waiting for my sister in law I turned around to take in the panorama.

And I realized: this place has something magical.
It was a clear day, with one of those blue skies that you just don't see in Northern Europe -especially in September / October-.
I could turn to the left to see the sea expanding on the horizon. Then to the right to see the Gran Sasso, the highest mountain in Southern Europe.
Within a few hours here you can go from sandy beach to climbing or skying.

In between, the hilly countryside is dotted of romantic-looking Medieval villages producing some outstanding (true) organic food and wine.

It's a real treat if you're into good food.

Coming from the city it's like you're stepping into a different world. Both for the environment and the people.
It's truly an easy, comfortable life. No stress, no running around, no traffic.
And of course, the double-edged sword, both curse, and blessing, of everyone knowing and talking to everyone.

If you're a driven a man, eventually you need the city. But this can be a hell of a break for hard-working people.
If I had a thousand lives, I'd like to spend a few in a place like this.
But we have only one. So we must make everything fit :).

If you're thinking of visiting, do let me know.

My ex-girlfriend was coming here.
But she made sure to add that it wasn't her choice (that was fun, LOL).

I just discovered this website, the amount and depth of information is mind boggling, thank you!

Thanks mate, cheers!

The Power Moves: Backing Up Social Power Videos

These days I'm working to record and back up all the videos in the Social Power course.

I can't stand the idea that some of the videos which are not mine will be taken down and that customers will miss on some value.
A few of them are already gone and I'm replacing them.
And for those which aren't I'm backing up to prevent the issue from ever happening again.

The idea of selling a product which is not the best it can be makes me very uncomfortable. So albeit this is a long and tedious process, it's now the top priority I'm working on.

Books I'm Reading

I got a few high quality evolutionary-psychology books I need to summarize and review.

Some of them I used for the article "Sexual Conflict" and will be done within this month.

Then it will be a list-post for the best evolutionary psychology books.

Now I'm reading "why women love psychopaths" and after that I will make a list of the best dark-triad books as there are already a lot of books reviewed here on sociopathy, psychopathy and Machiavellianism.

Travels: Last Days in Europe

The 22nd October is my last day in Europe for the whole winter.
I really don't like cold weather.

Busy Personal Life

Since it's my last days around here for a while, I got a lot of things to do.

A few people are reaching out for "goodbye catching-ups" and it's getting a bit too busy.
I like freedom, I don't like constrictions and "having to do things".

Lesson learned: plan your goodbyes one month before leaving, not on the last few days.

Escort Experience

I had an "oncall escort experience".

I never liked paid sex and the experience only confirmed my long-held stance: sex is the icing on the cake, the coronation of romance and chemistry.

Sure, the boob job, perfectly toned ass and escort-type of beauty were nice.
But overall, even if someone else is paying, paid sex is still quite underwhelming.

Some Website Connection Turbulences

There might be some slight issues with loading pages and connectivity in the next hours and it's been like this since yesterday.

It's an issue on SiteGround's side, the website host. and they are working on it.

I have been quickly investigating on some alternatives to host the website BTW but not for now.
Overall, SiteGround remains a top-rated hosting provider.

Found the website today, high-quality content. Great job!

I have a lot of experience as a social dynamics coach and some of the in-depth analyses I'm seeing here are truly unique. One of the few websites with a profound understanding about human relations - and lots of actionable advice too.

Will definitely read ALL of your posts and leave a few comments.

Keep up the good work mate, important stuff!

Thanks mate!

You're the first one with a real avatar, BTW :).

The Power Moves

I am done with backing up the videos in Social Power and today I managed to quickly ship this video analysis of Sadhguru.

I'm still reading "Why Women Love Psychopaths", there are some good ideas and concepts.

I'm listening to "behave: the biology of humans at our best and worst" and wow... This is a masterpiece.
If you want a quick overview of humans spanning biology, sociology, (evolutionary) psychology, neuroscience, genetics and heritability... This might be your best bet.

Life: Still A Bit Too Busy

Still a bit too busy, didn't manage to get as much done as I wanted.

If it's true we re-incarnate, I'd like to spend a totally boring life as a lazy and indolent man, being happy with an average life without any drive to learn, accomplish and explore.
Maybe smoking weed, gaming and drinking beer, instead.

But for now, I'm good as it is.
I think that each style of life is great in its own way.

Yesterday my Toastmasters club managed to organized a "bar night" which was also my goodbye-evening with them.

lucio on stage

Luckily I managed not to spill any tears 🙂

Said goodbye to my training squad:

What a huge difference people make in pretty much anything you do.

I have been taking Krav Maga lessons for a while and the group as a whole was quite low in social intelligence. You'd never really look forward to meeting them, it was just about training.
With these guys instead, everyone is warm and people-oriented. There is laughing and joking, we all know each other's name and we all know about each other's life.
The difference?
You really look forward to meeting them. Training is great, but when the group is great it's not just about training. It's about the people as well.
It almost bothers me I met this group almost before leaving.

Work is the same, of course.
An average team, and it's just about "work". And since work is rarely exciting, an average team means a poor job.
Make the team great, and the job becomes good.

The Power Moves Nex Up

The very next goals for the website are:

  • Catching up with book reviews
    • Why Women Love Psychopaths
    • The Mating Mind
    • The Evolution of Desire
    • Behave: The Biology of Humans
    • Attraction Explained
    • Update the pages book reviews / book summaries
  • Best "dark triad books" post

What I'm Reading

I have just started "Why Beautiful People Have More Daughter".

Lovely so far.
A bit too much on the "nature" side when it comes to "nature" VS "nurture" dichotomy.
But it's understandable because for a long time, and still today, people are still sometimes denying or downplaying the role of nature and genes.

But since 2008, when the book was published, things have improved (partially because it's hard to deny the deluge of data and partially because of prominent authors such as Steven Pinker and Jordan Peterson).

I landed in Vietnam, where I plan on making a custom-made shirt and custom-made pants.

Yeah, I'm a different kind of digital nomad :).

Restructuring The Forum

I am restructuring the forum.

Changing the titles, merging and rationalizing.
I added a new section for travel where I will write and post about travel experiences.

In the wealth section I am planning to eventually publish the metasummary on money and personal finance for free.

And I also combined the advanced forums for customers into one.

Some Forum Entries Went Lost

P.S.: since I upgraded to virtual server there have been some small issues and unluckily a few forum entries have gone lost.
Luckily, it's only a few of the most recent ones.
